We have discussed in an earlier article that dermal fillers can be given for correction of nasolabial folds also known as smile lines or laugh lines, plumping of thin lips known as lip augmentation, filling of the cheeks to give a fuller youthful appearance known as cheek augmentation, correcting pitted acne scars and chicken pox scars, and for filling of depression and hollows under the eye. In this article, we are going to discuss and understand how much do dermal fillers cost.
Dermal fillers cost in Bangalore, India
Well, actually the cost of each filler treatment is dependent on two basic factors:
- The amount of filler required to get the desired result, and
- Type of filler used
Types of Fillers:
- Hyaluronic Acid Fillers
- Calcium Hydroxyapatite
- Poly-L-Lactic Acid
- Collagen-Based Products
Juvederm and Restylane are the most popular filler brands and they both contain hyaluronic acid as their key component. Patients have given very good feedback about these brands. Both these fillers can be safely used in most places of the body. In both cases, results can be seen after one treatment.
Juvederm range of fillers include Juvederm Vollure, Juvederm Voluma, Juvederm Volbella and Juvederm Ultra. All Juvederm fillers are smooth, crystal-clear gels that are administered by injection without a surgery. The cost varies per syringe of different fillers.
The cost is typically between Rs. 17500 – Rs.25000 per syringe of 1ml. For the nasolabial folds, we require 1ml syringe on either side of the nose. For under eye fillers, depending on the amount of hollowness / depression, we may need either 0.5ml to 1ml under each eye. Cheek fillers again need 1ml on each cheek.
Dermal Fillers come in preloaded syringes of 1ml each. Once a syringe is opened, we cannot reuse it.
Needless to say, these are the prevailing rates and are subject to change. Should the cost of the fillers sold by the manufacturer get revised, the cost of the treatment shall also get subjected to a revision.
